Rock It Cafés are vibrant, informal but structured spaces where artists, researchers, and community members come together to share ideas, listen to one another, and imagine new ways of working together.
These cafés are not typical meetings, they are places of dialogue, co-creation, mutual understanding, and trust-building. Whether you’re a scientist, an artist, or simply someone curious about how knowledge can shape everyday life, the cafés welcome your voice.
Each café includes interactive workshops and dialogue sessions, so everyone involved can shape the ideas and outcomes together.
Throughout the project, three Rock It Cafés will take place:
— Café 1 builds understanding and trust, helping participants connect across disciplines and perspectives.
— Café 2 deepens the collaboration, serves as a matchmaking platform where researchers, artists, and citizens form teams to co-create projects in the Rock It Labs.
— Café 3 brings it all together, mediates final artworks and outcomes created in the Labs with the audience. It offers a reflective space to discuss what was learned, how the public engaged with the work, and what new ideas may emerge.
